I press tab tab enter, and it does make it faster to just type in "youtube" or "vt academic calendar", and tab, tab, enter. It's also handy at times to just eff around with google and type in obscure things and see what it's best answer for you is. I actually use the I’m feeling lucky button all the time. It is actually extremely useful if you want to go to a site by typing in a few keywords when you don't know the exact url for example I just searched "espn college basketball scoreboard" guess where it took me? Furthermore it is not any more dangerous than clicking on the first result after submitting your query. I do agree that the button could be labeled better but yea, it is branding and everyone knows what the button does.
