			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well, it&#8217;s the new year (and on that note, I&#8217;d like to wish you a belated Happy New Year). With it, I&#8217;ve decided to finally overhaul my old, semi-static brianklug.org site and get it moving with a blog, as many of my esteemed peers have suggested.</p>
<p>I owe my friends a lot of credit for the concept, the idea (especially the tagline), and support. I&#8217;ll keep this going with a myriad things:</p>
<ul>
<li>Documents, notes, sheets that have been created by me for classes, perhaps a few things typeset in <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/latex.php?latex=%5CLaTeX&#038;bg=ffffff&#038;fg=000000&#038;s=0' alt='\LaTeX' title='\LaTeX' class='latex' /></li>
<li>Projects and how-to&#8217;s that I&#8217;ve been working on</li>
<li>Reviews of some of the gadgets that I use</li>
<li>Observations and other things</li>
</ul>
<p>Now that I&#8217;ve got everything setup, (including comment verification with <a href="http://recaptcha.net/plugins/wordpress/" target="_blank">reCAPTCHA </a>and <a href="http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugins/Akismet">akismet</a>, SEO with <a href="http://yoast.com/wordpress/google-analytics/#utm_source=wordpress&amp;utm_medium=plugin&amp;utm_campaign=google-analytics-for-wordpress">Google Analytics for WordPress</a>,  <a href="http://www.arnebrachhold.de/projects/wordpress-plugins/google-xml-sitemaps-generator/">Google XML Sitemap</a> generator, plus enhancements from the <a href="http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/mystique" target="_blank">Mystique</a> theme, and LaTeX parsing from the amazing <a href="http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-latex/">WP-LaTeX</a> plugin), here we go!</p>
